Designer Replica Handbags - Are "Authentic " Designer Handbags Becoming Obsolete? Although there may be "questionable" reasons NOT to buy knock-off designer handbags, there are many reasons TO buy fake designer handbags. First and foremost is that there are a lot of websites out there selling knock-offs as authentic, and getting away with it. And, there are also some big stores right here in the United States unknowingly selling fake designer handbags. If corporate America can be duped into selling fake handbags what chance do you have?
Sam's
Club Caught Red Faced Selling Counterfeit Prada Handbags!! To Buy or Not to Buy So, here are some questions to ask yourself. "Why do I want to risk spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars and getting a potentially fake handbag?" Good question. Here's the next question "If fake designer handbags can fool so-called handbag "experts", doesn't it make sense that no one else would know, especially me?" Then the next logical question would be "Why would I want to take any risk when for hundreds I can get a comparable handbag?" Don't think for one minute you're buying a guaranteed authentic designer handbag unless you're shopping at a department store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales or buying directly from the designers website or outlet. Think you can buy an authentic
designer handbag on eBay? Don't even try it. The sale of counterfeit handbags
on eBay is huge.
One of the gals here asked for a replica Prada Canvas and Tan Leather Satchel for Christmas. It cost $185. She brought it into the office for all of us to see. The only thing we felt we could fault was the quality of the leather, which could have been better. It came with a tan leather crocodile trim. We thought it might be interesting
to see how closely this fake designer handbag stacked up to the real thing
so we did some looking online to find out how to identify an authentic
Prada handbag. Here's a bit of what we found: Our logo looks EXACTLY like the original and the lettering has a raised feeling. The signature fabric also looks EXACTLY the same. Here's are pics of the replica handbag:
The handle hardware on our
knock-off bag clearly marked Prada. (no markings on the buckle hardware
on the handbag). The zippers are not marked. The feet of the handbag are
clearly marked Prada. Thanks
to quirky-princess and her Authentic PRADA purse buying guide on eBay.
We thought the most obvious thing to look for was how the handbag was made. We actually were impressed by the workmanship of this handbag. The stitching is even and the fabric of this bag is sturdy. The attention to detail on the inside of the bag is impressive. Again, the leather is well stitched, no strings or pulls. This handbag has a zipper compartment on one side and a side compartment with cell phone pocket on the other. The lining fits beautifully inside the handbag with no pulling or puckering. The bottom line is that this
is a very good quality handbag for $185. And, we all agreed that since
none of us has ever seen an authentic Prada Canvas and Tan Leather Satchel
we would never know the difference. DESIGNER HANDBAGS
Not All Replica Designer Handbags are Created Equal! Don't
think that all knock-off designer handbags are the same quality. A $29.99
Coach handbag is going to be a piece of crap, as is a $19.99 fake handbag.
Don't even go there. However, if you shop wisely and follow some practical
rules you can get a very good quality handbag in the $200 to $250 range. Designers
claim they lose money to counterfeiters. However, logic
dictates that women who are buying replica designer handbags are doing
so because they can't afford the real thing. Women who can afford to buy
authentic designer handbags are buying the real thing. LV, Prada and Fendi
are NOT losing any money. They just haven't become smart enough to realize
they have a huge untapped market.
