We had a very good chuckle this morning here at FashionBlast. While surfing we came upon this picture from the Balenciaga Spring 2007 ready-to-wear-collection. After we stopped being amused we tried to figure out what was going on. All we could think was "Michael Jackson meets Space Alien". Then we tried to figure out why on earth anyone would want to dress like this, and we couldn't think of a reason. Ah well, to each his own. I guess that if this is your preferred fashion style you could say we're fashion squares here at FashionBlast. Go ahead, you won't hurt our feelings.

There is no simpler way to dress up an outfit than adding a jacket. It will totally update any pair of jeans or pants you wear with it. This is by far our favorite Spring jacket this year. It's called the Extra Special Tweed Jacket . This light weight tweed jacket is light green with accents in pink, blue, coral and white and an array of sequins, turquoise nuggets and beading. Fringe at shawl collar, placket, hem and cuffs. Side seam pockets. Fully lined. The best way we've seen yet to usher in Spring.





We love this dress. Talk about stylish, easy and fun. It's an offering from Monterey Bay. It's called the Good Energy Shirt Dress and we can see why. We love it's vibrant poppy color and the fact it's very easy care. It's 78% tencel® 22% linen, that means machine wash, tumble dry.

Here's a great casual Spring outfit with three pieces that are perfectly suited for mixing and matching anything in your closet.

First is the great fashion jacket. It's called Jazzed Up Jacket. This mandarin collar jacket has great chino embroidery accenting. It's 98% cotton 2% spandex. More easy care and casual dressing.
