OK, so we admit it. We're shallow enough to fall in love-at-first-sight.
Now you admit it, you fell in love too, didn't you? These are "O"
by Oscar de la Renta "Daffodil" boots. We love the suede and
the rounded off toe but especially the XO cut outs on the shaft. We also
like the fact it come in black and brown. Available through Macy's and
moderately priced at $198! 3 1/2 inch heel.
As much as we love the Oscar
de la Renta boots above we know that suede isn't for everyday wear. We
also liked these leather Alfani "Leopold" boots with their fold
over cuff. They're a pull on style with a 3 inch heel. Also available
at Macy's and priced at $169.
Over-the-knee and over-the-top? Well, none of us here at FashionBlast would wear them, but maybe you'll like them. They're Christian Louboutin Donjon over-the-knee boots. Black suede with gold studs. Hmmm... $2350 Net-a-Porter.

Here's a really good tip for
you to remember when you're buying boots or shoes. What is it about a
shoe or boot that actually goes out of style, that makes a boot "in"
one moment and "out" the next?
It's the toe!
When you're buying any footwear
item, be it a pump or a boot or even a pair of flats, remember that an
exaggerated toe will age it. An exaggerated pointy toe or any exaggerated
round toe will not remain fashionable and will definitely age the look
of your footwear. A boot or shoe with a moderate rounded toe, or a rounded
off pointed toe never goes out of style. Keeping this in mind will help
you be able to wear your boots and shoes year after year and still be
trendy!
